The East Coast EDL course is expertly hosted by Doubling Gap Ranch. The ranch includes a very large indoor arena with an impressive sky box viewing area, outdoor arena, roundpens and many paddocks with run in sheds. The staff at Doubling Gap take expert care of all the details for horses, riders and auditors. The ranch is located at 98 Hill Lane, Newville, PA. Check them out on facebook.
Each “course” of the EDL consists of ten, four-day clinics. Clinics are held three times per year in April, July, and October. The first five clinics feature intensive theory sessions every day. Clinics six through ten focus on the student instructors learning to teach Légèreté.
Individual Clinic Format
This is a typical clinic schedule, though it may vary, especially on day four according to the riders’ needs.
8am – 5:00pm Individual Lessons
5:00pm-7:00pm- Lecture/ Pedagogy
8am – 12:15pm Group work
12:15 – 1:15 Lunch
1:15 Rider meeting for riders and full course auditors
